Design Services
Layout, proportion, and flow—resolved. Every project starts with the foundation, not the furniture.
I help you create a home that feels calm, balanced, and intentional; without the overwhelm or guesswork.
Whether we’re working on one room or several, the process is thoughtful, clear, and designed to support you every step of the way.
What We Offer
I offer a range of services to meet the needs of every client. Many clients begin with a Design Clarity Call before moving forward with a more comprehensive design plan.
Have something else in mind? I’d be happy to work with you to create a custom quote.
Design Clarity Call
A focused starting point. Before a plan, before a purchase.
Description
A focused 60-minute video consultation where we look at your room together and work through the elements that most influence how it feels: layout, flow, and furniture placement.
You’ll leave with a clear picture of what’s actually off—and the practical steps to address it.
This is for you if:
Your room feels awkward or unresolved and you’re not sure why
You want professional eyes on the space before making any purchases
You need direction, not a full design package
You want to understand the problem before committing to a solution
Investment
$350
If you move forward with a Refined Room Plan after the call, the $350 is credited toward the project.
Refined Room Plan
A clear plan for one room—so every decision that follows makes sense.
Description
A complete layout and design direction for a single room. This package builds the foundation first—furniture arrangement, proportion, and flow—then establishes a visual direction so your choices feel cohesive rather than collected.
Includes:
Client intake + photos + measurements
One custom layout plan with furniture sizing and spacing guidance
Mood board (colors, materials, overall direction)
Curated sourcing list (sofa, chairs, rug, lighting, and more)
Simple visual plan delivered as a PDF
One revision round
30-minute review call or walkthrough
This is for you if:
You want a clear plan you can follow from start to finish
You’re updating a room and want the purchases to work together
You want your space to feel settled, not assembled
Timeline
Approximately 1–2 weeks
Investment
$1,200 per room
Elevated Home Plan
A cohesive plan for your whole home—not room by room, but as a whole.

Includes:
In-depth intake + photos + measurements
Spatial planning for 3–5 rooms (or custom scope)
Whole-home flow and zoning strategy
Layout plan for each room with furniture scale and spacing guidance

01
Define the Foundation
We begin with the floor plan: furniture placement, traffic flow, and proportion. This is where most rooms go wrong—and where real transformation starts.
Every project at My Corner House follows the same structure. Layout first. Visual direction second. Sourcing last. That sequence is what makes the difference.
My Process
02
Establish Direction
With the layout resolved, we build the visual direction—palette, materials, and tone. Clarity before commitment.
03
Curate with Intention
Furniture and pieces are selected to support the structure we’ve built. Each recommendation has a reason.
04
Refine and Simplify
We edit. We adjust. We remove what doesn’t serve the space. The final plan feels balanced, not busy.
What to Expect
Working together is straightforward. Here’s how it goes.
Before we start
You’ll fill out a short intake form with photos, measurements, and a few questions about how you use the space. No design experience needed—just honest answers.
During the project
I work through the layout and visual direction, then share a draft for your review. You’ll have the chance to ask questions and request revisions before anything is finalized.
What you’ll receive
A clear, organized PDF: your layout plan, mood board, and sourcing list. Everything you need to move forward—without having to hold anything in your head.
Timeline
Design Clarity Call: scheduled within a few days of booking. Refined Room Plan: approximately 1–2 weeks from intake. Elevated Home Plan: approximately 3–5 weeks, depending on scope.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes—but I’ll walk you through exactly what to measure. You don’t need special tools or experience. A tape measure and your phone camera are enough. I provide a simple intake form that tells you what I need.
-
Yes. Most clients come to me with a room that’s mostly furnished but still feels off. We work with what you have, identify what’s creating the problem, and figure out whether anything needs to change—or whether it’s really a layout or arrangement issue, which it usually is.
-
Primarily remotely. I work with homeowners across California and beyond. Everything is handled over video call and through shared documents, so you get the same quality of guidance regardless of where you’re located. if clients are local to the Bay Area we can plan to meet in person, if needed.
-
If you have a clear sense of the problem and are ready to act on a full plan, book the Refined Room Plan. If you’re unsure what’s wrong, unsure which package fits, or want to talk it through before committing, start with the Design Clarity Call. Either way, the $350 from the call applies toward the Plan.
-
The Design Clarity Call is a single 60-minute session where we look at your room together and I give you a clear diagnosis and direction. It’s guidance without a deliverable package. The Refined Room Plan is a full project: you get a custom layout, mood board, sourcing list, and a revision round. If you’re not sure which fits, start with the call—the fee credits toward the Plan if you decide to continue.
-
One room. If you want to address multiple rooms with a connected plan, the Elevated Home Plan covers 3–5 rooms and includes a whole-home flow strategy.
-
Every package includes a revision round. I’d rather get it right than leave you with a plan you’re uncertain about. If something in the first draft doesn’t fit how you live, tell me—that feedback is how we make the plan work for you specifically.
-
I provide a curated sourcing list with specific pieces—brand, product, and often a direct link. You purchase directly from the retailer. I mix retail-accessible brands with some boutique options depending on your budget and the look we’re building toward.
